However my free Saturday led me to do some needed cleaning and organizing in my studio. I traded in my deep plastic bins for easy opening and stacking plastic drawers---I can't believe all the fabric I found! Now when I need some green or pink or navy or beige lining for a purse, it will be so handy. I probably shouldn't buy any more fabric for a year---yeah, right.

Now appearing in the right place
Early last Saturday morning I listened to the weather channel predict strong and severe storms throughout the morning, so I decided not to do the outdoor market that day. Too bad for me...it only rained lightly until 9 am, then was clear the rest of the day!

I am trying to add to my plastic drawers as well as they are so much more accessible than heavy plastic boxes....upholstery fabric sure is heavy! I have to buy a different brand of drawers now as they stopped making the ones I originally bought!!
do you use cupboards as well or all drawers...cause am thinking the drawers are a great way to go....could picture a whole wall of them and will aim for that, especially if I can claim them as a business expense.
Pity about the market!!!!
I have all of my fabric in drawers, but just recently started to use this type. They all stack securely, much better than others I have used. Also, they are built with a sturdy reinforcement all around the outside of the box, and I think it will deter that sagging effect that comes when storing heavy fabric in plastic drawers.
I just love it!
Wow~ how nicely organized that looks! I love the bins w/the drawers, it makes getting to everything so much easier.
Good luck at not buying more fabric~ let me know how that works out for you :) I have the same problem!
